Regular price $29.99 Sale

The 2018 Ice Climbing Calendar is a large format calendar measuring 11"x11". The calendar features 13 months including December 2017 with each month showcasing a different ice or mixed climb from the Canadian Rockies.

Major holidays in both Canada and the USA are highlighted along with the more important stuff like most North American ice climbing festivals and the UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup Dates.

On December 4th we witnessed the largest elimination of protected areas in U.S. history, areas that are special to me. National Monument protections were removed for 2 million acres in Bears Ears and Grand Staircase Escalante in Utah.

For the first two weeks of sales, I donated 100% of the proceeds to the Access Fund, I wanted to donate as much as possible before 15 Dec so that the amount would be doubled by their anonymous donor.

//

PLEASE NOTE, I am currently donating 10% of sales to support the Bear's Ears National Monument Visitor Education Center being championed by Friends of Cedar Mesa and the Access Fund's legal fight to protect Bear's Ears. As of 20 December, I have changed this amount from 100% to 10%

15 December we donated $1400 USD from the calendars to the Access Fund which was matched by an anonymous donor and turned out to be $2800 USD! Thank you for your support!

The reduction in the size of Bear’s Ears is truly unfortunate. No matter your political affiliation if you follow my feeds online, highlighting mostly parks and protected lands, then I am assuming you feel the same way. I wanted to do something about it and not just send “thoughts and prayers” to highjack that trending phrase to my advantage. I would prefer to fight-the-fight. I have decided to donate 100% of the profit to two causes supporting the fight to protect Bear’s Ears. Many of you know that area is special to me and I had my 40th birthday party in the Creek this spring. I am donating 10% of the profit of the sales to support building a Visitor Center in Bluff, Utah and to the Access Fund to fight the fight. What area will be next?  Thank you for your continued support! Let’s try to make a small difference and do better than “sending hopes and prayers”.

 PLEASE NOTE, After 21 December I won't be shipping calendars again until 28 December.
